i don't like vick, i think the only reason he's sorry is because he got caught and would still be doing it if he didnt. when the eagles signed him, i was against it.
I still dont like Vick, yeah, I root for the Eagles, but as a person, I think hees a scumbag. and he prolly still would be doing it if he didnt get caught... but i do think he has changed and being caught is the reason for that, he is a better person.

My biggest problem with Vick was how he played in Atlanta. He was lazy, sloppy, and a really shitty run-first QB. I hated him. And when The Eagles signed him I was really pissed because I didnt want to see a lazy good for nothing player go to the Eagles...
However he buckled down. Perhaps wanting to prove to the world that he wasnt just what people read in the headlines. He worked hard, and learned the Eagles System, and developed into a really good pass first running QB. I'm very happy with Vick these days....
I think he changed as a player and a person, sometimes taking a step back and seeing what you've done will do that to someone. I like the Eagkes, but it doesnt mean I love their all their players. I never said I liked Vick, I just posted picsz of him and people got butthurt, lol.... i just want him to play well.

isnt it true that he grew up in an environment where dog fighting was normal? That it wasnt all that bad, and everyone was doing it? If that's true, I'm not so sure it even speaks out against his character. It's good he got caught, because it forces him to see how wrong it was.... And it seems like he has done a lot of speaking out against it. Which is good because it might convince some people to stop.

I'm just saying if it was how he was raised, it doesnt really speak out against his character. It's like saying some middle eastern guy is bad because he treats his wife as most middle easterns do because they were raised that is what you are supposed to do.
I mean it's great if you can show them the error of their ways, and help them change, but not so sure it really speaks against their character.
yeah but if someone was raped when they were younger, then goes on raping, I feel no sympathy for him when they fry his ass. People should have natural instincts where they know right from wrong.

pyschology would prove this to be not necessarily true
