    goin to see Winnie the Pooh with this girl today
    Omfg, I want to see this movie so god damn bad. /co/ gave it amazing reviews. My boy toy told me he'd go see it with me, haha.

    I asked my BFF to go see it with me, since we always see kids movies together, and she was like "Uh, no, Winnie the Pooh is stupid."

    MFW she told me right after how bad she wants to see Monte Carlo.

    Going to record my bands demo in a few weeks. The others just have to learn our newest song and once everything is tight enough we'll go to my friend's studio. Gonna pass them out for free at shows, plus we know people who book shows so we're gonna attempt to make a name for ourselves.
    make sure to have your demo ready if you go to a metallica meet and greet :-))

    Tbh I'm just trying to not do community center type shows, because most of the people don't listen to our kind of music so it's kinda pointless. I'd much rather do basement shows for now.

    I wouldn't mind doing one or two though.
    we're trying to get out of the community center shows, specifically for that reason. we have our first all metal show at Audubon Skate Park. Basement shows would be sweet too though.

    Cool. Don't get me wrong, community center shows can be cool (especially if you bring a lot of people) and are good for experience, but you really can't do too much taking that route unless you're a shitcore band, unfortunately.

    I'd only do one if we were friends with at least one other band.
    yea. i feel ya. or if they have like an actual metal night.

    Definitely. It's basically grind but with influences from death and thrash, so it's not full on blasting and whatevs. We don't have a bassist because bass is for homosexuals like Slap.

    :-)) Great. Grind/Death are my two favorite Genre's so I'll give it a listen. I think thrash is okay in small doses or when it is done a certain way.

    Yeah, the thrash part isn't nearly as prominent. If I had to describe it it'd be like a grind band playing Swedish death metal, or vice versa. It has a lot of those tremelo picked melodic riffs while still being teh brutals.

    Why does it make you sad that I marginally like thrash? that is weird. Do you like All DM or BM bands? When it comes to thrash bands, I really dont care for bands like Municipal Waste or Toxic Holocaust, but like bands like Metallica or Warbringer. I can't really put my finger on what makes me hate some thrash bands and like others. I suspect (and this is just a guess) that it might have something to do with the degree of crossover thrash. I don't think Punk and Thrash sound good together (MAYBE).

    Cool! If you want I could show you a couple of demos on exciting Turntable lol. They all have programmed drums and a couple of the songs the drums are a bit off because I rushed them. They're mainly for my drummer and vocalist to learn, but some are listenable lol.

    I'd rather wait to see the finished product after you record the demo. I'm not all that good at seeing a song's potential.
