So I found out the China cymbal I cracked has a 2 year warranty because my Mom got the extended warranty on it and since she got it for me for Christmas 2009, it's still in effect. I'm getting a brand new cymbal now.
Indeed. Kurt cracked my 10' Splash, but I didn't really care about that, because it's like $25, so I'll just get another one, but this China pissed me off, because A: It was a gift, and B: It's $120, and not easily replaceable either.
Both of my Crashes cracked, but those are over 20 years old and I got them from my Dad. I got them free, and with them being so old, I didn't expect them to last all that long.
And exactly what you said. They're expensive for the good ones. I'm dropping $100 for Tom mics in a few weeks, so I didn't need the extra expense from the cymbal.

More cuteness.

How are they not easily replaceable besides them being so expensive?
