hacking is illegal. i can understand how they'd be mad about the PS3 getting hacked/jailbroken. So they took action. Why is that so bad?
they just didn't take action against geohot for hacking it, they also sued to force YouTube and Google to turn over the info on anyone who even looked at anything related to it and threatening to take action against those people. THAT is why anon attacked them, and Sony fucking deserved it
