Spent THREE HOURS playing Ninja Gaiden Black today... and couldn't even beat one chapter. Stuck on Chapter 6. Absolutely brutal game. Actually feeling filtered, and this may join Sekiro, Jedi Survivor, and Celeste in the "games that are too hard for me to finish" list.
Jedi Survivor don’t have a single difficulty tho. You literally ruined that game for yourself by refusing to turn it down from the hardest difficulty that wasn’t properly playtested and balanced.
I wouldnt have been able to beat it on lower difficulties anyway. The entire combat system is centered around parrying, which I just flat out cannot get the hang of. I cant even parry properly in easier games like Mad Max or the Arkham games

Damn you real ass )
When it comes to parrying, yes. I cannot do it. Big reason Im expecting to not like Doom The Dark Ages much, because they made that really parry focused too
Gaming industry just fucking died with this China/Hong Kong shipment halt. Especially the smaller/niche companies providing us cool stuff like the Retrotink. Wish I had the money to order all this stuff a few months ago

Going to get another SSD that's a bit bigger to go with it, and need to pick a monitor out. Debating just sticking with a 1080p monitor, or bumping up to a 1440p monitor. I don't plan on using ray tracing or DLSS at all, if I can avoid it. So I'd like to run games at high performance, so 1080p will probably be fine for me.
Going to use my studio speakers for audio for now.
Waiting for the next generation of Lenovo & Asus handhelds to come out and see what happens with the pricing of the current ones before getting a PC handheld, so I ordered a R36S handheld emulator off AliExpress
$32, hoping it actually arrives before we're at war with China
The new models are mostly going to be improved battery life i would guess. The z2e is mostly just more efficient. I don't think we will have a large performance boost from it.

Not into buying used consoles of any kind, I'd be down for a manufacturer refurbish but I like to have a clear-cut warranty period for any tech. The prices right now aren't insane by any means and I could full send it right now, but I just moved and have more pressing things to be spending money on.

For 350 bucks it's worth it. You just look into the seller. I wouldn't buy one from someone with only a couple of sales.
