It's just so cool. I've got a 48 inch oled in the living room and at night I like to turn all the lights off and play with headphones. Just more immersion thst way and the light on the controller is so cool lol.
I know it's a small thing, but play lou part one and the light goes from green to red when you move into an area woth infected.
Also on sports games like madden or top spin 2k, you here the QB and the tennis players grunting through the controller speaker.
I usually play wit headphones in, so I usually don’t even notice the controller audio. I forget what game it was but I remember I was playing and took one can off one ear cause I heard like a thump in the house and while I was listening something played out of the controller. I was like “Oh shit this game does that??” lmao.
I actually game really quiet. I play with my soundbar at like 2 lol. Idk why, I've just always played games quiet. The default controller volume is so much louder than my TV it irritates me. So I turn it to almost off.

It's lit.
The speaker is actually probably the coolest part about the controller.
