I love these old threads. It would be even better if the OG threads were still around. People get so engrossed with what they have going on right now that it seems absolute. They conduct themselves as if their current status is a permanent one and will not even consider that things are always in one stage of transition or another. Looking back proves otherwise. Erik and MC both fit into this category. Metal was just a phase for Erik, but not Hip Hop. That's for life. MC is a virgin for life, he said at 21.
As an old fuck, its amusing/reminiscent/frustrating. Even the wisest caterpillar cannot contemplate being a butterfly.
You've jerked off and watched porn since then. Your sexual maturity is now around where most 12 or 13 year olds are at. You're just a late bloomer. I'm confident you will get it in sometime around the back half of the next decade. Hang in there buddy.

I can partly agree. In my eyes, from top to bottom, I believe it to be an exceptional record. I can see how someone can say something like Poison Was The Cure or Five Magics is filler, but for me I just love everything on that album. People call Lucretia filler but it's one of my favorite tunes by them. Hell, Tornado Of Souls alone solidifies their early song writing as some of the best metal had to offer.
I was thinking Poison, Lucretia, and Dawn Patrol. Nothing wrong with them, but all the other songs were such monsters that the bar was set too high for those to compare to. The first half is an 11/10, the back half a 8/10. It almost averages out lol.
