I love these old threads. It would be even better if the OG threads were still around. People get so engrossed with what they have going on right now that it seems absolute. They conduct themselves as if their current status is a permanent one and will not even consider that things are always in one stage of transition or another. Looking back proves otherwise. Erik and MC both fit into this category. Metal was just a phase for Erik, but not Hip Hop. That's for life. MC is a virgin for life, he said at 21.
As an old fuck, its amusing/reminiscent/frustrating. Even the wisest caterpillar cannot contemplate being a butterfly.

This is my all time favorite album. I've talked about it before, but I am taking about it again because it is simply perfect. It is the greatest album that has ever been made.
Finally free, the butterfly sheds light on situations that the caterpillar never considered, ending the internal struggle. Although the butterfly and caterpillar are completely different, they are one and the same.

Enimem's - The Marshall Mathers LP is a rap album that should be considered a masterpiece. Speaking of masterpiece rap albums.. NAS Illmatic and 2Pac All Eyez on Me
Wow Rex really has WOAT taste I bet your favorite rapper is Eminem.
Eminem's first 2 albums crust anything either of those artists have ever done. That being said hes a money making PR machine so he has done loads of shitty music.
As far as personal opinion on the matter i would put NAS and Scarface above EM for sure.
