I agree with whomever said Godsmack only because they are sooooooo mainstream and radio friendly. It'll be our luck that we end up with somebody like Methods of Mayhem. LOL

Maybe we'll have Hellyeah since they are doing the Uproar tour this time around.

Whoever they get to headline would have to be pretty mainstream. That's what they usually do.

As long as they keep the Warped Tour bands away, I'm a happy camper.

I'm calling A7X for main stage next year, that just seems obvious. Disturbed was at one of the Mayhem dates with Lyman, so they're another one. Godsmack/Disturbed/A7X?

i could see dope playing the mainstage. not headlining, but playing like the first or second slot. theyre somewhat mainstream.

I think Bizkit, Godsmack, Deftones, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold are your realistic bands for next years main stage as of right now. Maybe even throw AIC in the mix.

So you think it would get as bad as Bizkit, Godsmack, a7x and disturbed all on the main stage all in one year? It's never been that mainstream. 08 had slipknot, 09 had slayer and this year has LOG. I said LOG because yeah Zombie is kinda mainstream I doubt it will get that bad for awhile. I still have hope for mayhem

The economy will dictate how mainstream the fest goes next year. If Lyman and his partners/investors don't turn the profit they want then it will surely go more mainstream and possibly fewre dates as well.

whatever theyll play hartford cuz we have great turnout, but who cares if the mainstage is mainstream. just leave good bands on the sidestages like at ozzfest this year and i will more than likely still go every year
