found out that the "anime" convention in vegas was actually something called evo, which im guessing marc, mc, and at least a few others are familiar with. Ive got no fuck off idea which gamer convention is which, but yeah apparently it was a video game championship or something. still a fuckton of weeaboos and bronys, and the whole weekend. my dad had no idea what either culture was when I mentioned it so he just called them "shut ins on holiday" )
