My friend and his roommate got busted for weed. Maintenance people came in to fix one of their sinks, smelled their weed, and narced. Absolutely disgusting.
We actually have roomchecks at my school. They aren't allowed to go through anything but our fridge. If its out in the open, or in the fridge its fair game.

We don't have roomchecks at my school but they can search it with proper suspicion... but they can only search items that are school property. So they can search our desks, drawers, and fridge if it's rented through the school. They can't go into our personal shit though,
