Yeah it's bullshit. Their reasoning of "you can't do this on your own, you need a higher power to help you" is bologna. They should be telling these people that they have it in them to take control of their life. It says a lot of about a culture when people are taught they can't do things on their own.
I had this conversation with my gap and his roommate when my gpa was quitting smoking...I told them they didn't need to give god credit for something they did...it ended with them yelling at me and me leaving
Meh. I know none of you guys think like I do, but I dont think I'd truely get anywhere if it wasnt for others. Be it friends, family, God, co-workers, classmates, teachers, etc. I need others to succeed.
Well, of course there are things that impact your life, and there are people that are going to help you, but one thing I don't like about programs like AA is that they portray the person with the addiction as completely helpless. Sure, they need help, but I think it'd be better if the help was helping them realize that they can control the decisions they make and with a little help, they THEMSELVES can stop their addiction.
This couple is fucking on playstation live stream )
That happened when the PS4 first came out too. When it happened Twitch freaked out. Twitch is gonna start cracking down on it, and probably limiting things because of it.
