So according to the mayhem forum majority, its not ok to judge someone who fucks for money, but it's ok to judge someone who has religious beliefs? <_> this is just ridiculous, so fucking what if he doesnt beleive the same shit we all do, at least he is being open minded about it and not all fuck you attitude... sometimes i just dont get some of yooz.
It's on the same level as racism.
How the Hell is bashing on someone's religion on the same level as racism? You CHOOSE your religion, you can't choose your race. <_>

I meant the part about him not agreeing with homosexuality. I'm fine with people who are religious, but people who don't "agree" with homosexuality is just as bad as someone who doesn't "agree" with black people for being black.

I'm not sure about that. A lot aren't "born" with it. Some people start to find themselves attracted to the same sex way later in life, even their 20s, and 30s.

He never said he hated homosexuals.
I just don't know how else to take that whole "I just don't agree with it" though. I admit, he's better than Christians who try to deny homosexuals rights, but then again it's just like not agreeing with someone being a certain race.

We're actually being pretty civil here, I don't get what you and Courtney are seeing.

Erik is being the most harsh anyway, why don't you direct this at him? (not hating on Erik here btw)

I'm not being harsh, I fucking hate religion. Period. That's all there is to it. He can be Christian, I don't personally hate him for it, but I thoroughly hate his religion, and I have no problem admitting that.

but MC you say not all christians arent hypocrit WHILE your being hypocritical. you are a blashphemer according to the christian faith for liking Lamb of God. that is 100 percent a sin. yet your okay with this but you will judge someone else for something that is only opposed against by an obscure religious passage that was written so long ago that the translation is all fucked up. u see what im sayin

that's the only part i have difficulty grasping, is that people are born gay. i sort of see it as originally starting as a means for attention, or needed affection, and then work its way into being a more definite, mental w/e... i dont know the right words to explain.

again, i could be wrong. please prove me wrong, i dont mind. im just building on what Erik said.

I would say that is because of social distractions and things causing them to not find out their true sexuality, so being homosexual isn't even a possibility for some people until they realize it much later in life.

I can be wrong though, sexuality is something people are still studying about. :) But in regards to current studies, as I said earlier homosexual men have a brain that resembles a heterosexual female's brain. So there's literally physical reasons to as why someone is gay. It doesn't magically happen, y'know?

Yeah Erik I understand, it was more a swipe at George's statement, I can totally understand your frustration with the religion issue, like I said not bashing here just wondering why George felt the need to say that during an actual discussion.

It's their brain. Their brain is physically the same as a straight female's brain. The part in your brain that says for a straight female to be attracted to a man is in a gay man's brain.

I forgot who said this, but "Gay men simply do not have the brain cells to be attracted to women."

Everyone does things others disagree with. MC isnt hurting anyone, he doesnt come up in here with fucking religious meldowns trying to push his beliefs. I just dont get why the mob attacks him for making one statement. He never said he hated anyone or anything. He also stated he is trying to be more open minded. MC is a cool guy. I donnot have anything against him for what he believes. I may not agree, but I'm not going to sit here and call him fucking racist and shit, thats just wrong. He isnt hurting anyone, just like fucking for money doesnt hurt anyone. I just see alot of hypocritical statements. Leave MC alaone. I dont agree with people smoking cigareettes, is that the same as racism too?

those who say they're christians but never go to church, or study it but believe in and preach the bear minimum are different than PRACTICING Christians, who are always getting deeper in their faith, and developing new understandings on life.

I understand what Nola means though. You're talking about how being gay is a sin, and that you're not a sinner, but you're making up rules to fit your lifestyle. Technically, you're a filthy sinner for simply listening to Metal and eating shrimp. I don't care which sin is "worse", you're still technically sinning.
