I told my mom that I had to get tested for Covid and that I would be staying with the other person I work with to quarantine until the results come back. My parents are 65-70. Left today. I get a text "so did you get tested? Where are you at?" I told her, again, "I'm with Josh. And why? Do you want me to come home and possibly give it to the whole house if I have it?" Like, I went fucking over this already. Shes like "well you've ALREADY BEEN HERE, so yeah."

This will make you laugh.... since covid our company has been trying to reduce all expenditure. Right down to stationary. They arent ordering as much and have asked us to cut down on printing etc. Fair enough. But this arvo my assistant came up to me and said "the admin manager complained to me about the amount of printing you do. You have the highest amount in the office and half of it's in colour"
I have the biggest client base in our branch with the most income for the company and I'm only one of two brokers making budget year to date. If you are worried I'm wasting $10 per month on paper.... maybe you need to be focusing on far more important shit 🤬

The firm I work for is kinda the opposite. They bounce payroll checks every now and then, but theres always free coffee and cookies and donuts and cokes. We have catered lunches regularly. Best thing about my job
Its always awkward. One of the partners gets embarrassed about it and pays us out of his personal account when it happens. It’s happened 3 times in just under 3 years
