And what's good mr metal crusades? Actually I don't give a fuck what you say because you proved your ignorance with the neo Nazi skinhead comment. Try keeping your mouth shut before I have to own you once again.

"The first hardcore punk band to form on the east coast of the United States was Washington, D.C.'s Bad Brains. Formed in 1977 and consisting of all African-American members, their early songs featured some of the fastest tempos in rock music.[22] The band released its first single, "Pay To Cum", in 1980, and were influential in establishing the D.C. hardcore scene."

hardcore punk is the original term, hardcore is just the shortened, bands like Hatebreed and Terror are considered hardcore punk. Bands like The Casulties and The Misfits are considered punk. Like I said hardcore was evolved from punk, so there's alot of similarities between the two.
My point was metalcrusades statement that hardcore bands are nazi's is not true and fucking stupid to even state that. That's like me saying any band that wears makeup are homosexual, it's just not true.

MOST hardcore bands. MOST stand up there basically yelling their beliefs and philosophies out to a crowd of skinheads.
Friends Stand United (FSU) is a national organization in the United States which is classified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a street gang, a distinction that FSU members deny. It is an anti-racist group which includes members of various ethnicities, but is predominantly white.
Elgin James founded FSU in the late 1980s in Boston, Massachusetts. James disagreed with the right-wing, nationalist, Third Positionist and conservative political direction of the local punk rock and hardcore scene. He formed FSU to attack, beat and purge from concerts groups which he disagreed with politically, especially white power skinheads and other various racist gangs.
FSU has established chapters in many major cities in the United States and Canada. The group has splintered several times since its initial incarnation, with different chapters holding different values. Universally, the group espouses violence as a valid means to accomplish their goals. Many East Coast hardcore bands, especially those in New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Massachusetts, openly endorse FSU's lifestyle and/or beliefs.
The founding core of FSU eventually splintered, with a large section moving on to motorcycle gangs including the Outlaws. The split was amicable, but James and other founding members decided to leave a more positive legacy and steer FSU away from the criminal world. They established the Foundation Fund, which set up scholarships at local universities (Berklee College of Music and Suffolk University Law School) in the names of FSU members who had died. The fund also holds yearly benefit concerts to raise money for charities that reflect "hardcore punk culture" (teen homelessness, anti-handgun violence, suicide prevention and local orphanages). James currently denies involvement with FSU, however he was arrested on July 14, 2009 on extortion charges relating to his affiliation with the group five years prior.
James and FSU were featured on National Geographic TV and the History Channel's Gangland series, and in Rolling Stone magazine.
metalcrusades, you have no idea what youre talking about... if a skinhead ir nazi even showed up to a hardcore show, they'd be immediately beaten. Hardcore is 100% against rascism and hatred, it's the exact opposite. Everyone fits in, theres no discrimination, noone cares your skin color, sexuality, nothing. everyones there for the same reason to have eachothers backs and keep our community close and away from negativity and hatred.
George I'm not bashing the culture or saying that it is "racist friendly" but I have seen some swastika tattoos at a couple hardcore shows and they weren't "beaten". Granted I've seen those tattoos at various metal/rocks shows but I think you're just embellishing it a tad much.
and idk where your from, maybe its diff here. but the majority of hardcore listeners are either straight-edge HARDCORE FOR LIFE faggots, or skinheads. both preach their beliefs to others.
EDIT: BTW yea i follow some straight edge lifestyles but i dont preach it like they do.
well thefirst thin that jumped off this page you just posted was the band skarhead being a skinhead band, THE SINGER OF SKARHEAD, DANNY DIABLO, IS FUCKING PUERTORICAN AND JEWISH.
"Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags"
the singer and guiatar player of agnostic front are not white, theyre mexican. i just seen cromags, they are nothing but a positive band. I dont know where you guys are from, obviously not the east coast. rasism is not tolerated in my music scene.
hardcore has nothing to do with racism. do some research, your comments are not justified. all you showed me was comments made on another forum by some idiot like you who doesnt know what theyre talking about.
