I have a minor cold and was sent home early for work so I can rest up for a wedding tomorrow. For most, being sent home is cool and all.. for me, it goes against my work ethic considering my output was unaffected by my condition.
I think I'd be more pisssed off if the output of the business suddenly Improved WHEN I went home sick!

I received an email this morning telling me that I did not get a spot on the Exec. Team for ATAD :-<
They explained to me that I didn't do anything wrong and they loved my enthusiasm and passion for theme parks, but they had to pick people with the exact qualifications for this semester. They all seemed to really like me in the interview and the president of the club said I earned his approval haha! I guess being a freshman and a general studies (undecided) major hurt me this time around. All of them encouraged me to re-apply next time around so maybe that means I might be one of their top choices
I have a mild cold today (no fever thankfully though) and have to write a 3-4 page paper over Christianity and the environment. I mean it's not that bad, but it kinda grinds my gears a bit.
Oh and inb4 Wake talks about the time he almost died from the plague while having to write his master's thesis.

I don't, the paper is over an article for my 'Eastern Religions and the Environment' class. I'm learning about Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism as well.

What's you major?
I dont understand what the class title means by environment. Does it mean it is studying the social environment of why different regional areas choose different religions? Does it even cover the differences between them?

Sociology, but this class is part of my Philosophy minor.
The class is about how different religions influence their followers on ecological matters. Like, what Buddhism says about how you should treat the earth, etc.

I lol'd hard at this quote in this article
"A statement on a papyrus fragment isn't proof of anything. It's nothing more than a statement 'in thin air', without substantial context."
