One thing I noticed about the lineup this year, which surprised me, is I legitimately have never heard of anybody from at least the last 10+ rows, which has never happened before. That’s the type of shit that I expect from the Pitchfork lineup, which is the most pretentious hipster festival known to man and intentionally builds those kinds of lineups. I don’t even chalk it up to getting older or becoming out of touch either, I am still very in tune and try to listen to as much new shit as possible from all genres, but idk I jus legitimately have never seen those names anywhere. Idk what genre or scene they are and maybe it’s a lotta K-Pop or some off the wall shit that I don’t pay attention to, and that would explain it, but damn lmao.
1. Cattle Decap/Rivers in May 2. Boston Calling Sunday in May 3. Metallica/Pantera in August 4. LOG/Mastodon in August 5. Metallica in August 6. Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie in September 7. Korn/Gojira/Spiritbox in September
Welp it happened bois. LOG/Mastodon at Riot Fest. Hopefully they’re on the same day as Slayer and Rob Zombie. That’s how they’ll do it if they have any sense at least. Might go 2 days cause I wanna see FOB too and never have before, prolly not interested in a 3 day tho. I need to see the day by day.
