If you knew CM Punk was going to be there for survivor series that night then you’re straight cap. Not even the people working there that night knew besides Paul and the niggas in the war games. It was only speculation till that point. The deal wasn’t even done till that day lmao
Give Jungle Boy Jack his flowers. We would have never seen Punk back in a WWE ring if it wasn’t for him. I hope he enjoys his real glass where he’s at.
Pissed cause I didn’t see it live and avoided all spoilers jus in case then some faggot on my FB reposted it immediately and it was the very first post on my timeline. Motherfucker never posted about wrestling a day in his life smh. 😐
Anyways I can say it was legitimately a surprise. Especially considering how WWE can’t fucking help themselves from spoiling it every single time and letting nothing ever be a surprise, like how they announced ahead of time that Randy was coming back. Yes there were rumors, but like I said above, every time a PPV comes to Chicago, it’s rumored Punk is returning lmao. It died down once he went to AEW obviously, but I remember when I went to Survivor Series 2019 here, there was CM Punk chants the entire fucking night, even then. So that truly was nothing new. WWE actually did this one the right way.
I slightly regret not going now cause that energy had to be unreal in person, but at the same time, I’m off the Punk hype train. He’s at the end of his career, and he’s way too lame and bitter in real life, honestly tarnished his legacy. Over/under on this final run actually managing to last more than a year?? Lmfao.
yeah if you want to avoid any spoilers you gotta stay off the book. I learned that lesson hard with game of thrones but thankfully we were already to the shitty part of the series.
I’ll never forget when someone spoiled uncut gems for me in like the beginning of January and I was like woah dude spoilers. And he hit me with it came out last year. Retard that was 10 days ago.
Yeah my kid had a blast. I’m sure we’ll be going again when they come back this way. The live environment is always fun with the crowd energy and enthusiasm and all that, and the production is slick as shit. Watching modern wrestling makes me feel like Dennis Leary at the end of Demolition Man though. WWE is too clean and sterile and needs to get a little dirty and AEW needs to figure their shit out and clean some shit up. I’m trying to just enjoy things though. Whiny wrestling fans are the worst lol. Especially online. No one likes a “back in my day” boomer but I’m slowly getting more convinced that society actually did peak in the late 90’s/early 2000’s and I can’t tell if it’s actually true or if I really am just another old boomer now. How can I tell either way?
Was watching my niece and nephew tonight and put AEW on. Kids make everything 1000% more fun when they're into it. They've never watched wrestling before but they were both yelling at the TV and cheering like their lifelong team made the super bowl )

Yeah if you're a dumb fucking mark maybe. Internet has been talking about it for weeks
