TNA had Punk and dropped the ball with him. If he doesn't resign with the WWE I'd be absolutely shocked.
In other news....
It was reported yesterday that WWE officials discussed moving The Undertaker to RAW to make up for a top babyface character being transferred to SmackDown! during the 2011 WWE Draft.
While the draft came and went without "The Deadman" changing brands, company sources indicate he'll join RAW upon his return to television.
CM Punk has had matches vs Kazarian, AJ Styles, and RVD.
So what that means he shouldn't have more?
Well, he hasn't had matches with Jack Swagger, Sin Cara, Alberto Del Rio, (a legit match with)Evan Bourne, or Dolph Ziggler, I would like to see all of those before I see the TNA matches.
As noted earlier here on the website, a match pitting Michelle McCool against Layla this Sunday at Extreme Rules will carry a "loser leaves WWE" stipulation. As noted earlier, while the match was announced as a Loser Leaves SmackDown! Match at Tuesday's WWE SmackDown! taping, "WWE" is overdubbed in placed of "SmackDown!" during the telecast, which has already aired in Australia.
In an update on this, numerous WWE sources are now saying that Michelle McCool is legitimately leaving WWE, not taking time off as some speculated. Therefore, this Sunday will be her final match with WWE.
You can't make this stuff up guys - Kurt Angle says that he's considering another try at the Olympic games and he's dead serious.
"It's not just this old man trying to lash out to get publicity," Angle told WTAE Channel 4 Action News on Friday. "It's about really making the team and making a point that, you know what, the 40s is not old. It's the new young. I feel really good at 42, and I might be making a statement that him and I are going to start training for the Olympics and go after the U.S. Open, the Olympic team trials, and then the Olympics," Angle said.
"Everyone asks me, 'How can you do all of these things?' And I always tell them I'll rest when I die," Angle said. "I don't rest very much. I like to do things, I like to accomplish things, and I have a passion for everything that I do, including pro wrestling, and I miss the Olympic wrestling."
"But if we're going to make this (Olympic) commitment, we're going to do it, and it starts in August," he said.
"During yesterday's annual WWE share holders meeting, Vince McMahon was asked if he would ever buy TNA Wrestling, and the following exchange took place:
The shareholder asked, "When are you going to buy that three letter company that's based in Nashville, Tennessee? Because they have the wrong people in charge of that company."
Vince responded with, "Right."
The shareholder continued, "And please save the business from Dixie Carter. Stephanie has more brains than Dixie Carter has." Vince responded laughing, "I would hope."
The shareholder continued, "I think if you buy it now, there is a shot at fixing that company because I know you would put the right people in charge to fix that company." Vince, seeming to be at a loss for words, responded, "I don't know that they are for sale." The shareholder jumped in, "I'm sure if you offer them something...I don't know. It is a 50/50 shot. I mean they know you are loaded with money." Vince continued, "Well...maybe." The entire conversation drew tons of laughter from the crowd, Vince, Stephanie and Triple H."
Honestly Vince could only help TNA if he bought them.
Death is not the worst of evils.
You can't be down, when you're always high.
John Cena took another shot at "The Great One" The Rock on Twitter this weekend. Here's his latest: "CeNation. Just heard that yesterday the man who invented the telepromter died at 91. Somewhere right now the great one is in mourning "
