"I'm at the Eluveite show in St Paul right now and the bouncer just told me that Amon Amarth is coming here April 15, doing 2 90 minute performances, no opening acts. anyone heard of this? I'm hoping he's not fucking with me..."
"yes, they are doing an Atlanta date of that in April. First set is the new record all the way through, second set is other stuff."
and then Ticketmaster gave me this:
Fri, 04/22/11 - Amon Amarth - The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco, CA Fri, 04/29/11 - Amon Amarth - Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale, FL
According to The Pulse Of Radio, DISTURBED has been forced to bow out of the last four shows on the first leg of the "Music As A Weapon V" tour, canceling appearances in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday night (February 9); McAllen, Texas on Thursday (February 10); Lubbock, Texas on Saturday (February 12); and Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday (February 14). Co-headliners KORN reportedly played an extended set in DISTURBED's absence on Wednesday night, but it appears that the remaining three gigs have been postponed.
Sources told The Pulse Of Radio that cold weather at an outdoor show in Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday night (February 8) adversely affected the throat of DISTURBED singer David Draiman.
Doctors advised Draiman to take three weeks off, with no talking or singing.
The second leg of the tour, slated to begin on March 8 in Belton, Texas, will now start a few days earlier so that DISTURBED can make up the missed shows.
i know santana was upset, but i loled WASHINGTON DC CANCELLATION Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their February 10th show in Washington DC at the Verizon Center. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor's orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase beginning February 11th.
Also looking at the Verizon centers schedule, it looks like almost all of the dates for the next 3 months are booked solid due to the nba, nhl and what not
