Just watched the deleted scenes on the Scott Pilgrim DVD. They were all pretty pointless, barely straying from the actual scenes. The alternate ending was a mindfuck and was disappointing.
Doesn't change the fact that the movie is awesome, though.
thats why they call them "Deleted scenes" lol Movies heavy in improv tend to have alot more deleted stuff. (there's damn close to 2.5 hours worth of deleted and extended material for Anchorman, and its all on dvd
I'm used to deleted scenes actually having something I haven't seen. Not the exact same scene with one different line.

In my opinion, it completely voids everything that had occurred through the entire movie and is a total letdown. I get that it was to show his growth as a person but come on.

True Grit was really good. Jeff Bridges and that girl were great. Don't let the PG-13 fool you. The movie was very violent and bloody to R rating standards, so it surprised me how it got that rating.
