Resident Evil: Afterlife in IMAX 3D Fourth installment set for simultaneous theatrical, IMAX release.
Resident Evil: Afterlife will open in digital IMAX theaters simultaneously with its theatrical release September 10th. The fourth installment in the popular game-to-film franchise was shot in 3D and will be digitally remastered and presented in IMAX 3D.
Rory Bruer, President, Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures Releasing, said in a statement: "In 3D, fans of Resident Evil will have a whole new way to enjoy this next exciting chapter, and we're delighted that audiences will also have the opportunity to experience the film in IMAX 3D at digital IMAX locations, where they will feel like they are virtually in the movie."
Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Entertainment, added, "The Resident Evil series and IMAX share a key common ground -- fanboys. ... We're very excited to add this movie to our lineup to offer the millions of loyal Resident Evil fans a chance to experience this next chapter in IMAX 3D."
The official plot synopsis for Resident Evil: Afterlife tell us that in the Paul W.S. Anderson-directed sequel "Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap."

best movie from the last decade. got an applause after it was over too
Just watched, When You're Strange: A Film About the Doors. The movie simply awesome. The never before seen footage alone is truly incredible. Highly recommended.
Exclusive: I've just learned that Paramount won't be picking up Megan Fox's option on Transformers 3 -- and that it was "ultimately" director Michael Bay's decision. (So he gets his revenge for her remark comparing him to "Hitler".) Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star. Let's hear your suggestions, readers... So did Megan deserve to get fired?

I liked it but there's really only 3 major events in the movie. Nothing really happens lol.
Its a cool concept though because its like Terminator 2 combined with zombie movies and with religious overtones.
