Villain Mr Chow back for Hangover 2 (UKPA) – 39 minutes ago
Todd Phillips has revealed villain Mr Chow will return for his sequel to hit comedy The Hangover.
Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms are all reprising their roles as a group of friends in the follow up to the surprise hit about a disastrous stag party in Las Vegas, and now it has been confirmed Ken Jeong will join them as the hilariously aggressive and violent gangster they encountered in the first movie.
Todd told The Sun: "It takes place in Bangkok and LA, there's going to be some f***ed up surprises - Mr Chow's back too."
The first movie saw the lads wake up in Sin City on the day before Justin Bartha's wedding with no memory of the night before, only to find they'd trashed their hotel room, somehow acquired a baby, a tiger and a naked Mr Chow in the boot of their car, and lost the groom.
Todd has been writing the script to the follow-up and promises it won't just be a sequel but another great comedy.
He joked: "I'm not delusional. I know what I'm up against. I saw Meet The Fockers. But we're aiming high. It's called The Hangover 2, you know."
Good news for those that hate 3D movies. Warner has decided to scrap the 3D conversion for the next Harry Potter movie as apparently they're no where near done with the conversion, and we're only a month away from its release. So 2D only! Should b that way for all movies not originally shot in 3D.
For marc, they're still releasing it in traditional Imax. If I recall, they made the decision to go 3D for those movies in July, which means it was never intended to b in 3D, but greedy studio execs thought otherwise.
