I just checked Metal archives... and that intro im talking about is somebody else; because i only had the "Andromeda Unchained"
sucks.....cause now i want to listen to the intro. I do remember the band name started with an "A"
and Falconer has always been meh to me because i got into them after i had gotten over the whole power Metal thing.... it was the first kind of metal i listened to; and after a couple years i got extremely bored with it.
As for Power Metal Strat, I was the opposite as you i started out listening to Black/Death/Doom like Carcass, Necrophagist, DarkThrone, Emporer, Novembers Doom, Pentagram, Katatonia and Bolt Thrower. Than I started listening to bands like saxon Iron Saviour trying to find similar bands to Iron Maiden and I was hooked on the genre.
