I can't argue that right now jl but what I can say is the majority of the reds are young players and a ton of good talent in the farm system. This was not the year I saw them going far I thought they would win 90 and miss the playoffs then next year would be the big year.
Thanks to a win today the reds are halfway to that 90 mark and now 10 games above 500, go reds!!
Also I guess the tigers pitcher throws to hard for his own good. Broke his own arm he throws so hard
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Tigers are tied for first place. Also, the all-star team selections failed miserably this year in both leagues. Among the Tiger snubs are Brennan Boesch, Magglio Ordonez, and Justin Verlander.
JL>>Teams have these one year magical runs, surprise people in the postseason, then fade away again. Happens every year in baseball. See: Padres and Reds.
well there is no chance we lock up crawford and pena. I dont mind if Pena walks, but losing Crawford is huge, and it's highly unlikely we have enough cash to resign him.
Before the season, with the trade of Granderson to the Yankees, I said I wanted the Tigers to go after Crawford. With the emergence of Austin Jackson in his place, though, I think we need to address our infield next winter.
jackson solid? hes been amazing....crazy range, and boesch should have been on the all star team no rookie in the last 50 years has had a first 2 months like hes had
I haven't been in this thread since the beginning of the season..How about them White Sox being resurrected in June. If only they could be maybe a little bit more consistant.

not my Rays though!!!!!
Tigers in first place with a game in hand on the Twins!
Our main problem is the front office... and their lack of commitment.
