^ no he didnt..... fuck him. glad he got his ass beat down
GRAPEVINE, Texas — After a mostly sleepless Wednesday night, Antonio Margarito's conscience got the best of him Thursday, and he publicly apologized to trainer Freddie Roach for mocking his symptoms of Parkinson's disease in a video that was shot several weeks ago. Margarito, who will fight Manny Pacquiao, trained by Roach, for the WBC Super Welterweight title Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium (HBO pay-per-view, 9 p.m. ET), took the stage during the undercard press conference at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and told the assembled media he was sorry.
"I'm really looking forward to the fight, but I just want to apologize to everyone," Margarito said. "I hope that Freddie Roach and all of the people accept my apologies, and this goes to everyone with that disease. I want to tell you that I would never, ever in my life make fun of someone like that."
im pretty old fashioned when it comes to apologizing.... simply saying sorry is going to make everything better (or act as some magical memory eraser). I pity the fool who thinks otherwise.
yeah i meant marquez....he really is a good fighter, i wouldnt mind seeing pac man/marquez 3
yeah same here. I read an article saying that Pac's promoter is basically saying, only hardcore fight fans know who Marquez is and if they really wanna sell ppv's a fight with Shane Mosley would do that
dont get your hopes up, i dont see it happening within the next year, if ever
I know but still if the right time came it should be now after Manny's big win. The money that could be made for both of them would be mind blowing.
the only thing that would prevent it would be either Mayweather staying out of jail, or the whole "olympic style drug testing" (although Pac said that he'd be willing to do it, when they were trying a second time to get the fight off the ground
