every time floyd fights i go into it wondering if he still has it..since hes getting up there in age....but again last saturday he showed it from the opening bell...he is just so hard to hit...and even when you do connect a lot of times its not flush
Let's face it, the guy has only fought 3 times within a 24 month period. His body isn't taking the abuse that most of the guys take. So he automatically has that advantage. A lot of people often bring up the fact that rust may eventually effect him. Well, that hasn't been the case either. At least not yet. When the man says he beats most of these guys with his C game, I believe him. Ortiz was a southpaw who was 10 years younger and faster with incredible knockout power and was the naturally bigger guy. Didn't mean shit. Floyd's just that skilled at what he does.

I did get annoyed with the fact that he had opportunities to put guys away early (Judah, Baldomir, Marquez, Mosley), and instead of pulling the trigger.. he played it safe and won on points. But, it is what it is. He wins, and that's all that matters.
