I don't watch the Home Run Derby at all anyway. He sounded fine to me last night. Either you like his style or you don't. They could have ran out Mike and Mike again which would have been worse imo.

I am biased but I do think the bengals are better than what George listed. Only problem is we really don't play any powderpuff teams our schedule is brutal. And I think the ravens are going to be a force to fear especially with how close they have come the last four years just to fall short. I'd go as far as saying the ravens really may be my pick to make it to the Super Bowl. Not just based off last night but the last four years and the things they have done to improve that team.

I dont think theres any pushovers in the NFL. Any team any week can win or lose.

Just think of how much scarier the Ravens would be if they had Terrell Suggs in the lineup....

    :)) retarded list is retarded.

For starters Denver is not #3, not even close. Although their secondary was awesome. and Jets? lol. Dallas over Philly? lolwhat

Jets murdered a division rival and Denver looked awesome. I could have been biased and put Philly over the cowboys but they beat the fb champs on the road. Philly had a ruff game. A win, but a ruff game.
The Jets beat the Bills... Big Fin deal. And I think Pitts is completely suspect this year and starting to show their age, so I expected denver to win. Honestly Manning wasnt as great as I was expecting him to be.... I'll give you the cowboys but I wanted you to be a little biased there.

I like this list... but would suggest swapping Texas for the 49ers.

I wanted to reiterate that I really like Wine's list. I think he was trying to not be biased by putting the 49ers at 4 but they really should be #2 above GB.

Honestly Manning wasnt as great as I was expecting him to be....

Wut. Manning's stat line: 19 of 26 for 253 yards and 2 TDs. What the hell were you expecting for a guy who missed all of last year? <_>

I realize my expectations were high, but I expected him to be god like. It wasnt so much the stat line that bothered me, but the kind of throws he took. Mostly short pass side routes... I didnt see much over the middle or deeper throws. I aint expecting a 30 yard bomb, but i would have liked to see some 15-20 yard accurate slings. I didnt recall seeing one. It has me concerned since I own him on my fantasy roster.

You expect a guy who has missed almost 2 years to be god like after an almost career ending injury. <_>
  • WakeOfAshesWakeOfAshes Posts: 21,665 destroyer of motherfuckers
I understand playing the conservative game he did because the steelers secondary are the best part of that team... But I wanted to see a couple mid range throws down the middle. Is that really asking for too much?
  • JLRedWing13JLRedWing13 Posts: 48,751 mod
Wake <_> To play as well as he did on Sunday after so much time off is about as god-like as you could expect. The Broncos will take a performance like that every game from him.
