So I'm kind of falling asleep during the game...fall sleep with the Bengals down by two scores...wake up and they have it down to one...fall asleep once again...wake up and it's like 41-13. What.

My god, you people, it's almost like you forget the phase of defense even exists. The reason the Patriots lost the Super Bowl was because of their atrociousness on defense and lack of depth. Their running game is only a slight improvement on the team as a whole, but the thing that actually matters is Chandler Jones and Donta Hightower. If they both put up A+ seasons, the Patriots are the best team in the league. Straight up.
its not like the giants went up and down the field on them
It wasn't that kind of game, but allowing the game to open and close with 80 yard TD drives is unacceptable. Depth hurt them a ton down the line in that game.
Also, the 49ers would be a 6 or 7 win team without the best defense in the NFL. I think they proved last week that their defense is as much if not more of a game changer than the Packers, Patriots or Saints offense.

Pretty sure they lost because Welker dropped that TD pass...
Probably going to be the only one to say that that play is ridiculously overrated. The pass wasn't even that good. Welker probably should have come up with it, but if the Patriots had played defense, it would have sealed a 17-7 win for them.
eh i think you guys won more because of the shitty GB defense then how good your defense played....rodgers had some drops and threw a pic and they still could have tied it up...your rush defense was great tho...smith is going to have a tougher time next week tho
