Dude it's not really whiskey. It tastes like flat coke lol that's why it's so easy to chug. You don't even need a liquor license to sell it. I've had my fair share of soco.
Just looked it up, I didn't know they had up to 100 proof. The only soco I know is the 21% shit that grocery stores without liquor licenses sell along with other shitty 21% stuff.

pretty sure you do need a liquor license to sell it. the liquor company I worked for distributed it, so you at least had to buy it through a liquor distributor.
Nah the law in Ohio goes up to 21% and theres a law the limits how many liquor outlets can be in an area. So a lot of towns have one liquor store and then grocery stores can carry a stock of 42 proof bottles.
I meant that I had never even seen the 42 proof soco. I knew there was a limit on what proof you could sell without a license. I just wasn't sure what it was.
I don't know how accurate that number is though because it seems like a lot even for a long term investment. It's just what I've heard a couple of friends that work at Kroger say. They did buy them out though.
Edit: nevermind, Kroger nationwide has spent 26 million dollars in the last three years just buying out liquor licenses. They're going all in.

The 100 and 70 proof is definitely liquor and you def need a liquor license to sell it.
