I never got into them so I had hardly listened I knew loco and that was about it. Every time shock the monkey came up in playlists I would skip it because it annoyed me. 

So having no connection to this band at all and seeing them live for the first time I can say I thought they were fucking fantastic.

That was Snafu at Pantera except the crowd liked it when they played Fight Fire With Fire. People paid more attention after the band played music people actually knew.

Honestly this speaks to a greater issue: people arent willing to check out new bands, especially small locals. 
Like Ive posted my own music in here, asking for what people thought. Good or bad, and nobody says anything. Then you're all "start playing covers so people can hear songs they actually want to hear". Thats so counter intuitive to the scene, and thats exactly why cover bands have completely taken over local scenes. 

Id rather somebody say "I listened to your album and it sucks" than "I have no interest in your music, and you should just play covers"
