Government must be really cracking down on taxes for small businesses. CD Baby is making us register our tax info now too, or we will stop making money off streams. So that's CD Baby, Paypal, and Bandcamp now. Such bullshit.
We don't make enough money to incorporate. Hell we don't even make enough to really owe any taxes. Such a waste of time and money, and all its doing is hurting small bands.
My voice/lungs are starting to get better so recording continues this week. I'm going to be recording vocals in pieces so that I don't hurt myself. But hopefully the EP will finally release soon!
Also, got offered an opening slot for Impending Doom, so that's rad!
That's bad ass man but tread really carefully. This covid shit ain't no joke and I personally know people who took x amount of months to recover and went right back to doing shit pre covid diagnosis and fucked themselves up worse than before. Very very happy to hear you're recording/playing again because I want to hear/see more music from you guys, but don't try to push past your limits even if you feel frustrated that you can only get a small amount done per day. Be safe and work your way back up brother!
Yea, I did two songs today, just cleans. I'm shooting to finish cleans tomorrow (only three songs have cleans), and then maybe do 1 song screams tomorrow, and finish screams Friday or something.
Added a way to buy tickets for our show with Impending Doom through our Bandcamp so that way people don't need to use cash or Paypal if they don't want to. Hopefully this works.
EP will be done by Wednesday. Then we just need artwork, and we're looking into doing a music video to coincide with the single release. Very, very soon guys!
EP is done, just waiting on artwork now. Then we'll order those CDs. Trying to get ahold of the guy for our music video, but he's apparently very hard to get ahold of. So we might need to find someone else. Hoodie art being worked on, and new t-shirt designs. Re-recording of the first two EPs is being worked on, including an acoustic remix bonus for some songs. New stickers ordered. Full-length, and additional EP is currently being written.
