It was awesome seeing the effects of people coming back from the blip. It was much different than seeing it done in almost a comedic way in Spider-Man FFH. The sound and dialogue from Captain Marvel was also dry well done as Monica was being dusted back together. The chows cooking was intense. Much of this episode felt just like the middle of a huge blockbuster movie instead of a tiny pocket show on a streaming service. It even fleshed out characters like Darcy (great to see her back) and Jimmy Woo better than the movies have (my man Jimmy hitting that close up magic was great!)
1. Show revealed Wanda is the villain 2. Opening was fucking great 3. Showing Visions dead corpse as Wandas puppet was awesome 4. pretty much neighborhood of M
Great episode, but i kinda wish they would have waited to reveal this stuff until later in the season. Would have been cool to put all the pieces together at the end rather than have our theories confirmed 4 episodes in. But who knows, maybe that would have dragged the show to too slow of a pace
I don’t know that Vision is necessarily Wandas dead puppet. She may have just been remembering that he was dead as her bubble continues to break down. It definitely seemed like a lot of exposition in the episode, but it didn’t really travel as much as it seems. We already knew Wanda was doing all of this, but we still don’t know why. Now the people outside of WestView are as caught up as we viewers are as to what’s going on in town. Not sure if she had a mental break or if she is in a bubble putting Vision back together without the stone (there is a line in the Legends episode about rebuilding him without it, seems pretty telling for a 7 minute recap meant for casual viewers to include that specific line of dialogue)
