They had a pretty cool looking CGI Popeye movie in production at Sony recently. Sony changed management on their animation division though, and the new boss canned the project. There are pieces of it floating around on youtube
They're gonna rush through character introductions like they did with Suicide Squad. You can only do so much in 2.5 hours. I know they want to compete with the MCU but they should have done solo Aquaman, Flash, etc movies first.
2. Have they established that there is no Uncle Ben? I've read that they intentionally skipped the origin story because it was kinda played out. Perhaps Ben is something they're saving for a later movie. They already skipped any mention of his parents and most of how he got his powers. It's possible that they are treating Homecoming as Spiderman's up-to-speed movie and they'll let the drama in later. Sony looks to be treating this as the doorway to their own little universe, so I'm sure we will get an oversaturation of Spiderman lore over the next 5 years
Said an interview that he's already dead I believe. They kinda hinted at it when Ned said something about telling people Peter was Spider-Man and Peter said something along the lines of "I can't do that to Mae. I cant break her heart. I can't do that her after everything she's been through recently."
Damn apparently the hall where they showed the Infinity War trailer was on complete lockdown. All cell phones were put into bags and security was walking around with scanners that can detect electronic devices. Looks like no chance for a leak [-(
They also said in the trailer they show the Guardians meet Thor for the first time and a battle scene between Iron Man and Thanos where Thanos uses his Gauntlet to bring the moon closer to the planet.
I'm trying to stay optimistic, but that Flash outfit looks like some Batman & Robin level shit. You know you're doing it wrong when the tv show suit looks better
It would kinda suck being Cyborg as an actor. Cast me as any other character and I'm 100% coming home with one of those suits, even if they try to charge me Afleck Batsuit prices for it.
