I'm just not a fan of time travel. The set pieces and characters have been spot on and that's what's kept me watching but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying the ride. I'm in til the end.
Yeah time travel gets weird in most cases. It’s hard to do well. It it’s been really fun watching the MCU figure out how to bring in some of the weird and outlandish shit from the world of comics and how they translate things to the screen.
Yeah movie was decent. Fight scenes were dope. But Taskmaster was definitely underutilized and this movie was released 5 years too late. Fuck Isaac Perlmutter
What a phenomenal set up for the next movies. They’ve set themselves up to where literally anything is possible in the next few movies. Any fears of the MCU not being able to maintain its momentum after Endgame just got laid to rest.
And we get a second season. I wasn’t expecting that either.
Man this shit is nuts. The actor playing The One Who Remains was incredible. I was skeptical of them introducing him at that point but dudes charisma is through the roof and the second Mobius didn't recognize Loki my jaw hit the floor even before the statue reveal

The end was a little weird and they fucked up Taskmaster.
But overall I liked it. They should have put this out wayyy earlier though. Shoulda been before Captain Marvel for sure.
Oh and the intro sequence during the opening credits was pretty cool I thought

August 11th.
I wasn't expecting a season 2 either but I'm glad. So many cliffhangers.
