Not quite, but their lyrical themes aren't that varying, I'll give you that. The thing is, Iron Maiden make better music than any of the bands on that list, so that's what I'm going by.

True metal isn't about making people want to fuck shit up. Iron Maiden write better music than Slayer ever will, and that's the truth. Slayer may have made some of the better thrash in the last 20 or 30 years, but they won't ever make better music than Iron Maiden.

I don't know if things blend when I listen to Slayer, but I for sure have more fun listening to 24 hours of Maiden than 24 hours of Slayer.
