They linked purchases to the NAME not the account though. So if I change my PSN name, I lose the DLCs and games I bought. It especially impacts PS3 games. There's a long list of games that straight up break if you change it, including Littlebigplanet which I play regularly. So Im too scared to change it and risk losing everything on my PS3.
