Fight Club suffers now for having 20 years of other lesser movies and general pop culture piece off parts of it that were revolutionary when it first came out. That shit blew my mind when I first saw it, and not even for the twist. The opinions it presents on commercialism and anarchy honestly changed my life.
Watched Airplane! For the first time. Loved it. Don't know why it took me so long I love Leslie Neilson. So many quotable lines although for whatever reason that one that had me shitting my pants was when Stryker was talking to the old lady right before the plane took off:
Also, watched Schindler's List for the first time yesterday. What a fucking movie. Liam Neeson is amazing in it. Some of it was legit hard to watch. I know some people have mixed feelings about his breakdown at the end but I thought that hit heavy.
so did I! But I was doing some reading as I do when I see a movie for the first time and I I was reading alot of stuff that said that that scene was the "cheeseball" out of place moment because why would a man like that ever feel that much remorse for people he didn't really care about and also "it undermines the sacrifice of the jew during that time." Fucking Jews just can't be happy with shit. I thought it was a fantastic scene

Great show. Loads of violence. UK crime families battling it out
"Nervous?"
"Yeah."
"First time?"
"Oh no, I've been nervous lots of times."
Named my dog after it
