There have been a few albums I've heard because of girlfriends with shitty tastes, but thankfully I've forgotten most of them. The only gay shit my current girlfriend likes is Cam'Ron and Incubus
My uncle says he hates Death Magnetic more than Load or Saint Anger because DM kind of made it official that they just straight up cant write thrash songs anymore.
They werent trying to be thrash on any of those records though. I remember when DM came out a lot of fans and publications were saying Metallica was back )
I never listened to anything they did after 'Load', tbh. I head about 5 songs total from SA and DM. The only reason I heard much of 'Reload' was because it was a big album with lots of radio play. They just really lost it. I heard about 3 songs from 'Lulu' before I ragequit
