The way I look at it and I know a lot of people especially on here feel different. $200 (or $250) for three days of music. 20 bands I know I like. 6 I've never seen. 1 that's done after this year and one that recently got back together that I haven't seen since like 07. I would go regardless because of Metallica but there is definitely a lot I like and room for me to find some other bands that I've not listened to.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Yeah for sure. For me there's only 5-6 band songs I'd be really interested in seeing. I was just thinking of going ignored my friend ends up going for a weekend away. I want to see Metallica again but they are going to be doing a large tour so I assume I'll be able to see them this summer closer to home.
I would actually like to go but with everything going on in that time frame and this summer I don't think I can afford it. There's like 12 bands I'd want to see though. All repeats except for Soundgarden and Metallica and Metallica is touring later so I guess it's not too bad.
With how Metallica mixes up their set every show I'm fine with seeing them more than once this tour. Plus if it weren't for the Orion one-off it would have been over 8 years since I saw them.
Nah I don't drink much any more and never on a weekday.
There re just not overly special live. It's a good show and I would go see them again if they came to GR but I wouldn't be disappointed if I never had the chance to see them again.
