I know I have my general music thread, but The Pilot had it's own thread, so I figured I'd do the same for Lone Star.

And the autotune is actually very light on this. It sounded nice without it, but I felt that on this particular beat, the autotune fit it real well.
Skully made your art?
I gave him the idea and concept and he brought it to life. Y'all didn't know he's dope as fuck at graphic design lol.
you should make start the show the first track
Nah In My Mind has been the set opening track for a while now.
You fucking wit it doe?
Lone so far is:
1: Show And Tell
2: The Last Of Us (Produced by me)
3: Amnesia
4: Foreclosure
Star so far is:
1: Start The Show
2: Never Say It's Enough
3: It's Nothin'
1: Lone Star was split anyways. It was 2 "sides" to one mixtape, where both sides, Lone and Star, had distinctly different sounds to them. It was like 2 mixtapes in 1 from the beginning.
2: People have ADHD wit music and would rather listen to 2 10 track mixtapes separated by a couple months, rather than an 80+ minute, 20 track single mixtape. It's just smarter from a business and promotion perspective.
3: Lone is extremely depressing music. And not angsty depressing like Slipknot's Snuff. But, for me at least, just plain depressing music. Painful. Obviously moreso for me because I know exactly what/who everything is about and where I was at mentally/emotionally when I wrote each track, but it's just plain sad music. Obviously, some people love that in music, some just want something that makes them happy, hyped up, etc. Anything positive. But for the latter, they'd prolly immediately be turned off by it and not finish the mixtape if it were all one mixtape. But this way, I'm making it clear that both releases are 2 completely different sounds. Star is positive. Sex, drugs, happy shit. Even got a track on there that's a Trap beat that I sing RnB vocals on. If melancholy music kills your vibe, skip Lone and bump Star. If you're more about raw emotion and substance, skip Star and bump Lone. Hopefully you fuck wit both doe like I do. Simple.
