Come on. I'm actually trying to discuss this with you. I'm not being rude, I'm just asking you why you believe what you believe. You call me naive a lot, which is fine, but I just don't get why you have no burden of proof when you disagree with the consensus.

I dunno. I just have an evaluation process that has led me to this point. I question everything. I don't believe much at all from the media. I recognize that the same companies that own the media are key political campaign contributors. Everyone knows there's an agenda to be followed and they adhere to it. Talking points memos have been posted online for years. Even the companies that position themselves as competitors are often in business interaction elsewhere. Look at Fox News and MSNBC; as proper news organizations they are positioned as mortal foes expousing opposing political agendas. People everywhere choose sides, often citing one or the other as illegitimate. Well, once you go over to the sports side, they share a website/news agency and nobody bats an eye. It's not even concealed (Foxsports.msn.com). It's all WWE to me. It's not just here either. British press has practically devolved completely into tabloid and their fear mongering against Muslims is so absurd it's hard for me to even grasp sometimes. (http://www.eutimes.net/2013/06/police-probe-at-least-54-more-evil-child-grooming-gangs/) So when I see this story that plays out where this guy is practically The Talented Mr. Ripley, I can't help but be a little skeptical. The CIA is like one of those street gangs in pulp fiction: you don't get out alive. The idea that dude was allowed to move around like that from country to country without keeping in tight with the agency is silly. This just doesn't seem right. I don't pretend to know exactly what's going on. I just feel like we're being lied to. But I really am not as in to this story as much as I think most people are because I see it as a smokescreen from something else and I'm more interested in what that something else is. He really didn't let us know anything really that important but people are rabble rabbling everywhere about it.
Btw- You got me on the spy girlfriend. The article I read that from has been since removed. Prolly bullshit. But that's kind of the point innit?
The anonymous video isn't a surprise though. The CIA figured out that since anon didn't want to have a face, they would kinda give them one. The older anon kids call it x-sect. A lot of the more public anon shit lately has been the result of the x-sect. I've seen a lot of anon stuff lately where they've replaced the Guy Fawkes with Bozo the Clown

It used to be the Soviet Union that would spy on their citizens, tap peoples phone calls, pull shit off in secret, and take people who spoke out and throw them away in a hole in Siberia without a trial for opposing the dirty shit that they tried to pull. Anonymous probably isn't anywhere near as anonymous thought they were.
