Those student loan rates are bullshit and out of control. People need better dental and mental health coverage. People are depressed and in despair because they don’t have shit going on for themselves because poverty sucks.
Ive been having fun discussing Yangs Universal Basic Income policy with these people. It’s fun watching the dim little lights come on in their brains as people start to connect the dots on how it would impact their own life, then they start with the “well what if people do this or that or the other with it?” and when the answer is it doesn’t matter what they do with it they go back to realizing how much it would be if it themselves and everyone around them.
If you dont know what the Universal Basic Income is the tl;dr is that Yang wants to give you $1,000 a month to do whatever you want with. $12k a year right to you and everyone else because he trusts you with it more than the government with it.
