I'm not sure I'd be too concerned about this. If they took your guilt from DNA evidence from your identifying cotton swab or DNA test, it would be inadmissible in court. This is only for identifying measures, and even if it were used for anything else, they wouldn't be able to use it against you.

But seriously, I want to know why you think this is such a travesty. Sure, it's a little bit more advanced than something like fingerprinting suspects, but it's not like they can use this information in court against you.

As a drug consuming man, the fourth amendment is the most important law for you to know top to bottom.
The fourth amendment's main clause is a protection against search and seizure by the government. Rex believes, and I disagree, that this law that was passed by the Supreme Court which allows for law enforcement to take DNA samples from suspects for identifying purposes only is a violation of that clause.
kinda ironic we can have a national DNA registry but a gun registry is absolutely out of the question.
i don't like this because it's taken and entered into the database if you are ever arrested at all, regardless if you get proven guilty or not. The march towards fascism continues.
and on a side note the 4th amendment died with the Patriot act, this is pissing on the grave.
