Another shocking revelation came from the prosecution who revealed the cost of alleged hit on Lambesis' wife was priced at $20,000 and that Lambesis was "very willing to pay that."
I thought it was $1,000 :-?
<_>
Murder for hire 101. You don't pay for the whole thing up front dude. You get some cash now, and the rest when its done.
Spoken like a guy who lifts
TUPAC IS DEAD/THE LEGEND IS GONE/THEY SAYIN TUPAC'S BACK?/DEM NIGGAS WRONG
Funny the dollar amount is being discussed. On NBC tonight, Chris Hansen was doing a special on the shit you can find on Craigslist. One segment focused on finding hitmen. They busted a dude at a casino and he got away. Anyways, the hitman was charging something like $22k but wanted 6k up front.
Isn't always half now other half when job is done tho :-?
That seems to be the standard, but I guess it comes down to up front expenses, supplies, and in what way the job needs to get done. $1,000 will get you a gun and a bullet.

Steroids don't make you randomly murder your family you fucking moron. That motherfucker was just mentally unstable. And it's been said multiple times that the most probable cause was all the concussions he had over time, fucked wit his brain.
Roid rage is real I dgaf what Erik says.. So he knows a nice dood at the gym on juice therefore steroids are cool lmao but concussions obviously had a play in the Benoit case, the amount if similar symptoms with these athletes is obvious
Yes dumbass, I said roid rage is real when abused. Not to the point of murdering your fucking family doe. Just irritability and way more confrontational, ie; fight before even thinking about talking.
A few weeks back the world was shocked when As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his wife. The supposed hitman ended up being an undercover cop. Lambesis has been locked up ever since, pleading not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder with a $2 million dollar bail set. Today, new information has been released on how Lambesis was actually captured.
An anonymous witness of the arrest told the San Diego Reader exactly how it went down:
An employee of the Oceanside Barnes & Noble who did not want to be named recounted the May 7 bookstore bust of As I Lay Dying lead singer Tim Lambesis this way: “It was about 2 p.m. My buddy was outside the store doing face-painting and the cops told him that he needed to stop immediately and go inside. Tim [Lambesis] was there with a friend just browsing. I saw one special task-force cop, two regular officers, and two undercover officers. They just pushed everyone aside and handcuffed him. It all happened so fast. It seemed like they were planning it out for a long time.”
When we originally reported on the story, it was reported that Lambesis was arrested after soliciting an undercover cop. Could this "cop" be the "friend" in the story above?
Lambesis' next court date is currently scheduled for June 10th. At the bail hearing last week, Lambesis was accompanied by a new laywer, Thomas Warwick after originally being represented by Anthony Salerno. No word on why Salerno was let go, as he initially saved Lambesis from a potential life sentence. Salerno, in an interview alleged Lambesis was being set up as Lambesis' brother-in-law is a sheriff deputy. Lambesis new lawyer, Warwick claimed at last week's bail hearing that steroid use clouded Lambesis' judgement.
No matter where you stand on Lambesis' guilt, things do not look good for his case. There is so much more to this story, and if you haven't caught up, read all of our previous coverage.

Although maybe the cop told him something like bring a grand to this meeting, X amount next meeting, then the rest after she is dead.
Or an axe and a new pair of shoes :>
