"Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, the world’s largest touring heavy music festival, is back for its seventh year. Headlining the main stage will be masked metal miscreants Slipknot, on their only U.S. tour scheduled in 2014, alongside alternative-metal titans Korn. Rounding out direct support with be Avenged Sevenfold, marking their first appearance on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival (not including a prior off date performance). Supporting those bands on the main stage will be a rotation, depending on the date, of the Trivium, Cannibal Corpse and Asking Alexandria.
The rest of the fest shapes up as follows. Body Count Ft. Ice T, Suicide Silence, Mushroom Head, Emmure, Veil Of Maya, Upon A Burning Body, Battlecross, Chimaira, Ill Nino and a Jägermeister Music opener.
Corey Taylor of Slipknot says, “You knew we’d be back. Now, you know we’re coming. This will be a tour people will scarcely want to miss. It will definitely be a show to remember. Can’t wait to see the states again from behind a mask.”
