I'm still going with the crew but I feel guilty about it at the same time. First lineup that doesn't have a single band on it that I love. WOAT lineup but still good enough to be enjoyable.
I don't care who's playing really. I will go because I enjoy the whole festival thing but this new fake lineup sucks worse than all the other fake lineups. If this one turns out to be right, it might be the end for Mayhem and that's fine with me. Somebody else will create a new fest for us to bitch about.
I saw this exact show last September in the same place they have mayhem fest in Albuquerque.. A7X with korn.. sevenfold had a cool stage setup and korn was really entertaining when they played their old stuff. But it was the most empty I've ever seen the place, and sevenfold was pretty boring even the guys on stage looked bored.
I actually saw them back in 2008 opening for Otep, Ill Nino and Walls Of Jericho and haven't seen them since. They're like a Motley Crue sounding band with a female lead singer. It's decent hard rock.
Well this lineup is only abt 85% real. Emmure & UABB are NOT on - i can tell u taht for fact seeing as howa couple local venuesbb is playing near me IN mid-july, and Emmure is already on a Rockstar sponsored tour right now + on a couple euro fests. No way in fuck is AA on mainstage, if they r than mayhem rlly droped the fuckin ball thsi time. Other than that i think it could be real, but Norma Jean is fucking ON, i am not a fan, but they r on, one of my friends went to see them nd talked with a couple members after show nd he said the guy said theyd be bringin the mayhem this summer, so thats means they r confirmed. also, Mushroomhead makes this worth going to even if every other band sucked. Not the worst lineup possible minus AA nd Miss May I nd Emmure, but probly the 2nd worst year. ALSO, seeing as how a Dope/Mushroomhead tour was CONFIRMED for this sumemr by Edsel Dope on FB, if MRH rlly ios on this then Dope will be too. Plus, Mayhem DID say on FB that there would be 19 bands, this is only 18. I think u are wrong on EMmure & UABB, Norma Jean and Dope and also Psychostick are on.
