It's like one if those college bitchez that claims to listen to "everything", but "everything" consists of some pop, some country-pop, some hip pop and some haircut hardcore. I hate people like that because I take "everything" literally and proceed to discuss the difference between Cocteau Twins and Souixsie and the Banshees or how they feel about Slaughterhouse new mixtape or ya know...something with a little more depth. Album is ridiculous. I love how he didn't become just another washed up Pop Star like everyone else, and instead completely reinvented himself. To me 20/20 is a full blown Progressive RnB album. Literally any song on it that has single potential would have to have a radio cut, and I feel like I did about Yeezus. It's a mainstream album released by an extremely mainstream artist, but is so out of the box that it's not really accessible to the general spoon fed mainstream audience. Amazing album.
I mean, a huge artist like JT making an extremely progressive album wit almost every song at 7+ minutes, when everyone has musical ADHD, that's ballsy. I love it.
