I realize that some people improperly label them that, but they are more closer related to indie rock bands. It's stupid you are even trying to argue this point with me.
Pallbearer, Royal Thunder, Young Hunter, Ahab and Old Man Gloom are a few metal bands to release something "new" this year. Not to mention the huge change in camp Baroness. But I can understand Wake. When you find something in a style you don't liste to often and really like like it you really like it. That's how I am with a quite a few non metal bands I've discovered this year.

I'm not off of metal, just frustrated at the lack of originality. Like the Gojira album - It was good. Just like the ones before them. Actually exactly like the ones before them. Wait did they just change the title of the song and reissue this?
