The most fun week of my life was back in 2008, and it was at a youth camp(fukkovs), i seriously miss that group we had back then, a lot of my best friends were there, and I'd give just about anything to have everyone back for another week, but i remember waking up every morning and going to eat, and then we would go play Carpetball (most fun game ever), or riding go-carts or playing paintball. Afterwords we would all go swimming or just hang out.
One night we had an all out food fight (spaghetti), lasted a good half hour, and then after we had a huge waterbaloon fight.
But the last night there was the best, we had a "no talent" show which was a lot of fun, i know i have a video of it somewhere, i need to find it.
It was also the first time i ever played in any sort of "band", i wasn't that good back then lol, it was also where i met my first actual gf. -
Unfortunately now i haven't talked to a majority of the people that went, i haven't even seen most of them in a year, a couple of them even moved out of state and got married, and I can't even hang out will the ones who are still here because they for the most part hate each other. :-<
i miss how much more special everything was when i was a kid. for instance: saturday morning cartoons were still a big deal because there weren't 24 hour cartoon channels and da innanep. my son just expects me to be able to produce his gorillaz videos at any given moment. he has no concept of waiting for something like that. i used to have to schedule out my tv shows so i didn't miss any. i remember intentionally letting a bee sting my finger during play time at my daycare so i could go inside and watch the go-bots mini-series because i knew if i missed that episode, it might be months before i'd get a chance to see it again. we didn't even have a vcr until '85ish

^yeah... I second that. Saturday morning cartoons were a big fucking deal in my house. My stepdad had football on sunday, and I had gi joe, transformers, and ducktails on saturday.
going to the drive in theatre ... we would get to run around and play on the playground while watching the movie. feeding my little sisters mud pies, riding my big wheel around, traveling roller rinks, magic isle in flour bluff, building forts with blankets and chairs, tables and step ladders and playing in them for hours on end, using the huge box the new water heater came in to make a play house, climbing trees, racing go carts, racing horses with my cousins, the summer family vacations.
Catching eels with a mate out of drains on a farm which was down the end of our road. No fancy fishing gear, just a long role of string and some hooks, and cat food for bait. Fuck they were big eels
I had a dachshund, had her for 8 years, i still miss having her around.
Damnit all! Today is her 2nd year anniversary ugh I guess I'll have to wait till I get home to upload it. Awe those things are awesome. I'm sorry for your loss.
That was probably the worst day ever, she was unfortunately hit by a car, but 30 minutes before that happened, our sister came by and told us our grandfather passed away.
